1950's American Wedding Car
If you are organising a 50's style or retro wedding what better way to arrive at the church than in a period 50's car. The Pillarless Coupe design of this car allows excellent access for the photographer to take pictures of you in the car.
Weddings are catered for in the Southampton region, especially the Waterside villages of Totton, Marchwood, Hythe, Dibden and Fawley. All other areas can be covered, so please contact me for details and prices.
This is a very rare Pontiac sedan from the fabulous fifties and there are only four of these vehicles currently in the UK. In it's day this car was Pontiacs 'top of the line' with only the convertible version above it. The white hardtop styling replicates the feel of a convertible and the interior headlining has chrome bars re-asserting this feel and with no central door pillars and both font and rear windows down it provides for a very open style of travelling. At the front the car has a wrap around windshield and a front exterior sun visor, and at the rear the boot lid has a spare wheel mounting in continental style advertising 'Sun Records' the vinyl record label of the era. Whitewall tyres and side mounted chrome exhausts add to the classic appearance, and to top it off the bonnet has an illuminated 'Red Indian Head' mascot. Although a two door coupe the front seats tip forward at an angle allowing plenty of room for entry and exit.
